  13.           +o The routines which tag image files now mark the profile
  14.             as being embedded.  This probably does not change the
  15.             behavior of any applications, but does bring the
  16.             tagging routines into conformance with the ICC
  17.             specification.

  19.           +o The CMM now supports abstract and simulation profiles.
  20.             This means that you can chain together more than two
  21.             profiles, either to simulate output to a device or to
  22.             add "effects" profiles.

  24.           +o The CMM now uses the rendering intent in the profile
  25.             header to determine which LUT to use in constructing a
  26.             profile.

  28.           +o Due to an uninitalized variable, cocostiff would
  29.             occasionally fail to adjust an image file, even all the
  30.             required profiles were present and a transform could be
  31.             built successfully.  The variable is now properly
  32.             initialized.
